Timothy Brooke is considered one of the region’s most established painters and each of his exhibitions is eagerly anticipated by both collectors and fellow artists alike. The latest exhibition titled ‘Genesis’, contains some vintage Timothy Brooke subject matter; Mt Kenya, wildlife, livestock, beautiful depictions of the diverse people of the region and Aloe flowers. It will also feature a supremely stunning painting of Elephants. As always Timothy documents what has been around for thousands of years but what we stand to lose in a couple of decades.
Peter Hetz, Executive Director of Laikipia Wildlife Forum, has kindly consented to open the exhibition.
