This month’s concert brings on stage the Mombasa based artist Nyota Ndogo, with her taarab inﬂuenced pop music, the Mwanzindika Drummers from Taita Taveta county with their special healing and exorcism music using the kabunde and kengele drums, and the njuga (leg rattles), the Nyenyezi za kambe group from Rabai with their Kayamba music and dance and Nairobi Melody with modern day taarab, a blend of classical traditions rooted in rich Swahili poetry, local melodies and rhythmic beats.
Come celebrate Kenya with us as we host an all Kenyan lineup comprising of the astounding Mumala Maloba, the charming Nyota Ndogo, the gifted Kato Change and the multifarious Just A Band.
Limited advance tickets will be on sale for Ksh. 1,300 on www.ticketsasa.com before 25th February and for Ksh. 1,500 on ticketsasa and at select Dormans outlets (Mama Ngina, Westgate, Village Market, Yaya, Junction and Karen) thereafter.
Tickets at the door shall be sold at Ksh. 2,000 for adults and Ksh. 500 for children (5-12 yrs). Children below the age of 5 enter free.
