GILB’ART PRODUCTIONS invites you to the staging of Efua T Sutherland’s EDUFA at the Kenya National Theatre from the 22-25 September 2016.

Edufa tells the story of the high premium placed on material wealth and social standing and to what lengths individuals will go to secure it. It also highlights the role of women in traditional African Culture and seeks to demystify the deep-rooted superstitions that are often the bane of women in Africa.

The play is adapted and directed by the renowned Carol Odongo and will features a star studded cast of award winning actors Ian Mbugua (Lifetime achievement award Mbalamwezi National Theatre Awards), Jackie Nyaminde, Peter Kawa, Verinica Waceke (Nominee, AMVCA Awards), Maina Olwenya (Kalasha Award Nominee) and Mwajuma Belle.

Advance tickets on sale at 1000, Gate charges 1500.
