Venue: Banana Hill Art Gallery
Exhibition Runs until: February 15, 2013

Tanzanian artist Salum Kambi is a self-taught artist, who learned his first skills in primary school, practising making portraits of a friend. He now uses his skills to express his social engagement.

“I love to paint women as I strongly feel that women in Africa sacrifice a lot for their families. They combine strength and perseverance, and lift their families out of hardship through their never-ending commitments.”
