The GoDown gallery will be hosting the “Kenya Burning Exhibition” from Monday 30th January 2012 for two months. The Exhibition revisits the gruesome images of the 2008 post election violence, lest we forget. For more information on the exhibit: http://www.thegodownartscentre.com/kenya-burning/index.html

The GoDown is also preparing for its first of several convenings on the theme NAIROBI- an exploration of its origins, highlighting how culture and the arts have, and continue to contribute to the formation and life of the city. A group of 20 participants will kick start this conversation on Monday 30th January 2012.
