Brazil World Music Museum looking for African/Arabic albums, Feb. 5-7 2012 @ Nairobi

January 27, 2012 at 10:24 am 2 comments

We are working with a music archive/ museum in Rio de Janeiro. We are looking for as many vinyl albums of African and Arabic music as we can find from any country on the African continent. Our goal is to attain up to 10,000 vinyl albums over a year or two.

We will buy record collections from collectors or music fans in Kenya and will pay a fee to the person we hire for each album they buy for us. We will also pay to ship the albums back to the museum. The albums must be in good condition – both covers and playing surface.

We will be in Nairobi February 5 – February 7 if you happen to have a readily available collection and would be interested in meeting.

Looking for immediate work- please contact via email as soon as possible if interested! email:
