jazz awakens creativity, inspires love beyond self, our ears get to hear music notes that cannot be explained in words. Am glad kenyan Jazz is moving higher & getting better…Rimbui & team kudos! …i’d love to treat my man please get me a ticket:)

I would certainly want to hear this music that originated in New Orleans around the beginning of the 20th century and subsequently developing through various increasingly complex styles.
The classy genre of music that is generally marked by intricate, propulsive rhythms, polyphonic ensemble playing, improvisatory, virtuoso solos, melodic freedom, and a harmonic idiom ranging from simple diatonic-ism through chromaticism to atonality. Coupled with the slang, liveliness, spirit, excitement and dance is definitely an event to attend…Jazz is of class…can’t wait..(tickets…)

I understand jazz. Not in the maestro-prodigy kind of way -I’m a novice, just stepping out of the cultural closet, discovering the audio g-spots in my ears. I understand jazz because I am an artist. The music sends me spinning in an inebriated spate of inspiration. Also, I’m uncovering my eccentricity in dress and manner, embracing my inner African diva. It would be great to win one of those tickets. Just one. I plan to take only myself.

Well, to say the truth, I rarely ever see the hype with this Jazz thing in Kenya and I really would like to try it out, it will be my 2012 thing for sure. Plus I’m really trying to land this job that I totally love and I’m sure with my super networking skills, I’ll land some few clients/ prospects. So you guys, I need all the help I can get. Thank you!

i love jazz especially the afro type. however, I have been starving for some since I now live and work in Djibouti- as you can imagine, there is very little cultural activity that takes place in this tiny Red Sea city- since I will be in Nairobi on the said weekend, please awaken my soul with some jazz…and at the Tribe.; what better reconnection could I have with my city//

Roses are red violets of blue
For two free tickets, I wrote this poem for you
Let me take this moment to tell you about my life
One that is full of stress and the occasional strife
Six days a week my eyes squint at a screen
Toiling and tiring, I am only left with a dream
To treat my nerves to the sound of sweet melodies
To watch sway of curves while I drink a few brandies
Jazz started as an American invention
But lets not forget the African connection
Across the world Jazz has lit in us these fires
Bringing together rum, sweat, and motion.. expanding our desires.
The sounds of the sax can only inspire
For me to leave my problems behind, and begin to conspire
For sound of jazz massages my emotions
Listening is the first on my list, the second is her fine motions.
With a drink in my hand and a woman by my side
The fact that it must end is the only downside

Since the year began i have not had anyday off work reason being am the only employee and the rest are directors, its been one tiring and energy draining year for me, i feel burnt out……….iam closing work on the 15th to officially start my long awaited rest and this Jazz experience will be a good way to usher in my festive season…..i would love to also share this experience with one of my sweet friends moh who just lost her baby through miscarriage and some little fun out of the norm will do her justice. I love Jazz as well it raises my alarms and intricates my most hidden treasures of Joy………….Kindly rekindle my almost burnt out fire! Thanks in advance for i know i got them tickets…love in abundance

I totally cant live without jazz music…..I use jazz to attach the feelings of my heart with real life….. its real food to my soul everytime I attend a jazz event i become high and feel like am soaring in the clouds FOR REAL…..I CANT MISS ALL THAT JAZZ……………………….ALL THE TIME….

I hate jazz. Its bag music. I mean, who would listen to a demented old guy blow into an annoying golden pipe with buttons on it for ten minutes with another (equally) demented old guy tap a brass plate, all in the name of music?
Unless its a gathering of bags. x_x barf #ihatejazz and I wouldn’t listen to it even if all forms of music were to mysteriously vanish off the face of this planet.
