Exhibition: East Meets West 2010, until Nov 8 2010 @ Village Market

This exhibition underscore over a decade long partnership of exposition between Caroline Monda, a Kenyan designer and Martin Dartey, a Ghanaian painter.

The show reveals the differences and similarities of their individual and cultural backgrounds. As well as a revealing the common threads which runs through this uniquely African experience. The exhibition is a careful collection of the various styles and genres which reflect the rich, accumulative experience of the two creative people. Furthermore, it reveals a new direction and awareness of art especially as objects of collection and means of investment.

Both Carol and Martin live and work in Nairobi, Kenya.
