This is a group exhibition by some of Kuona artists with guest artists Peterson Kamwathi, Patrick Mukabi, Peter Walala, Michael Soi and Gor Sudan.
This is a fundraising exhibition held in collaboration with the Kenya Rotary Club in support of various charities in Kenya.
Come celebrate Kenya with us as we host an all Kenyan lineup comprising of the astounding Mumala Maloba, the charming Nyota Ndogo, the gifted Kato Change and the multifarious Just A Band.
Limited advance tickets will be on sale for Ksh. 1,300 on www.ticketsasa.com before 25th February and for Ksh. 1,500 on ticketsasa and at select Dormans outlets (Mama Ngina, Westgate, Village Market, Yaya, Junction and Karen) thereafter.
Tickets at the door shall be sold at Ksh. 2,000 for adults and Ksh. 500 for children (5-12 yrs). Children below the age of 5 enter free.

Peter Elungat needs little introduction. He is currently the one of the best selling artists domestically. In this exhibition, the canvases retain their charming medieval quality though the backgrounds have taken on a more pastel palette. As ever his canvases grow in size in tandem with the increasing appetite for them amongst the art buying public in Kenya.

GoDown based artist Naftali Momanyi will hold a collaborative exhibition of paintings and sculptures with artists from Bobea Art Centre and Kuona Trust at the Village Market old exhibition hall. The show “A Journey of Africa Through Contemporary Art” opens on 16th December 2011 from 8.00 a.m.-9.30.p.m. and runs till 27th December 2011.
The Kenya Community Centre for Learning (a non-profit school catering to special needs children) is partnering with a number of GoDown based and freelance artists to hold an exhibition dubbed `Art is Our Special Ability’.
