Makadem is back from global touring where he shared the stage with Seun Kuti (Son of Fela Kuti) & Egypt 80, Oliver Mtukudzi, Soweto Kinch, Baaba Maal, Mahotela Queens, Lokua Kanza, Gllen Washington and many others.
Expect: A night of powerful benga fused with vibrant afrobeat, poetry & dance
*Makadem is heading out in March for a 3 month residency program in Paris, France. This might be his last concert before leaving.
Maddo, one of Kenya’s long standing media cartoonists, and Sasa Hivi Media launch Maddo’s Online Archive & Community website ‘Itsamaddworld.com’.
Maddo has continued to engage Kenyan readers with his satirical look at Kenya, the world, people and politics for the last 22 years, through his full page composite cartoon feature ‘It’s a Madd Madd World’ that appears in the Standard newspaper ever Saturday.
The launch will be spiced by the Spotlight artist and Ohangla man ‘Makadem’.
