viongozi
Official Opening: Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 6pm.
Venue: Kuona Trust Centre for the Visual Arts
Location: Denis Pritt Rd

Exhibition dates: January 31 – February 14, 2013 between 9am and 5pm

The vision behind ‘Viongozi’ is to re-imagine the image and faces of the presidential candidates in a new and contemporary way. These famous faces and personalities that are constantly influencing and shaping our lives. The portraits are slightly abstracted with an addition of African graphics inspired by Kenyan art.

Our hope is for people to be amused, tickled! and to leave with a sense of unity and pride in our rich culture and diversity as Kenyans.
