Hadithi is an online open access library for African Scholars. Our mission is to maximize the impact of academic research while engaging communities of learning and making societies critically conscious through increased access to quality academic information. We see our platform as a stepping stone toward enabling equal rights to education for students in developing countries.

Launch
Our official launch is on Jan 24th with a panel discussion around “Open access and higher education in Kenya.

Discussants
Include: Dr. Ndemo Bitange [PS Ministry of Information & Communication], Mr. Joe Mucheru from Google, Mr. Alex Gakuru from Creative Commons and Prof. Meoli Kashorda from KENET.

We anticipate an audience made up of the donor community, international development banks, students and researchers from a couple Kenyan research parastatals.
