One of these artists is a man from South Africa who has made massive headlines with his Afro-influenced House Music. His orchestral performances and commitment to Soulful House Music has made this man a giant in the scene. The man is none other than BLACK COFFEE; the Godfather of South African House Music.
Hailing from the Eastern Cape, BLACK COFFEE has come a long way with his sound. The multi award-winning DJ and Record Producer has been honing his skills for a good 20 years and has four sensational albums to prove his worth on the scene. This man knows no boundaries, as he not only performs on the decks, but with a full orchestra too on occasion.
With great thanks to KENYA NIGHTS, and ELECTRAFIQUE, Kenya will play host to the enigma, the man, the legend that is; BLACK COFFEE. Electrafrique is once again hosting another party at Carnivore’s Simba Saloon this March. On Saturday the 22nd, lovers of authentic Afro-Electronic Music fused with quality Electronic Dance Music (EDM), experience an all-night long party dedicated to nothing but music and dance.
Electrafrique will also be joined on stage by talented Beat Parade Band. Together, Electrafrique and the band will fuse live music mixes and the live band, concurrently between sets. The Beat Parade Band plays traditional instruments like drums and percussion, making raw African music. Don’t miss to see the fascinating blend of music being made.
For the past two months, Electrafrique has been hosting a party at the Carnivore, every other third Saturday of the month. In February, they hosted The Villagers Band. In past Electrafrique events, have hosted among acts: Black Motion (South Africa), Boddhi Satva(CAR), Carlos Mena (US) and Renato Xtrova (Angola).
Electrafrique continues to host monthly parties at Carnivore’s Simba Saloon till end of 2014.

Juma Tutu and his band are some of the best live acts in Nairobi. They present authentic Swahili music that is bound to get you dancing.
‘The Night,’ the all-white themed party will for the first time ever in Kenya feature a line-up of 16 DJs playing on 3 stages, in what promises to be the biggest New Year’s Eve party the capital city has ever seen. Leading the DJ pack will be international DJs Shaun ‘Banger’ Scott from the U.K. and Dino Bravo from South Africa, two of the hottest DJs on the global entertainment scene at the moment. Representing Kenya will be the cream of Kenya’s DJs, including established names like DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Chukie, DJ Kaydee, DJ Riggz, DJ Klash, DJ Stretch, DJ Jean-Marie, DJ Frakus, DJ Wati, DJ 7, DJ E, DJ Denz, DJ Erik and DJ Cat.
