    My sister and friend went the the Goat Derby, by 3pm it had yet to start. No entertainment, no goats and they organisers refused to refund them the money;

    I am very pleased to inform you that I received a refund via June Gachui who very kindly spoke to Mr Nyagah on our behalf (we are happy with the 50% refund as it was a charity event after all). I am certain June’s very kind intervention resulted in this gesture by Mr Nyagah, who also spoke to us at the event. I SMS’ed my thanks to June and let her know that this meant more to me than just the refund, as it allowed my elderly visitor (who had last visited Kenya in 1969) first hand experience of Kenyan integrity. This has turned would have been an unpleasant experience into a very positive one. Happy to support all concerned in the future.
