Celebrity Charity Catwalk is an event for Media Tulee Mtoto Charity Initiative (MTMCI)’s first project Mtoto Lala Poa. MTMCI is a charity initiative founded in April this year. Their first visit was to the Compassionate Hands for the Disabled Foundation home in Ruai. They were able to buy food worth 47k.

The foundation has 30 children most of them with disabilities. Their living conditions need major assistance. The kids sleep on a few mattresses on the floor and therefore we would like to raise money to get them beddings. Our aim is to raise 255k for 30 beds-15 double deckers, 30 mattresses and 30 blankets for this first project Mtoto Lala Poa.

Celebrity Charity Catwalk will be on the 14th of June at Le Vans. It is a call to fellow ladies in the industry – Actresses,
musicians, presenters, models, dj’s and even those behind the scenes, to help raise this 255k..in respect of this home, which is run by ANN NJERI, a 27-year-old lady.
The catwalk collection is by Achie Otigo who is the fastest raising couture designer in Kenya. She has dressed Nariki Janet Kirina, Avril, Perpetua (pulse), Wambui Thimba, Sylvia Njoki (Eve Gal), Patricia Kihoro, Adelle Onyango(1Fm presenter), Fiona Nyongo, Angela Maina(Ms Africa New York).
As far as the male celebrities( this list is a suprise), we shall auction them and depending on how much money the ladies “buy” them for, that is the same amount they will use to take the ladies on a date later. International designer Uhuru Clothing’s Ethnic Collection 2012 will be on showcase and auction.
