This Saturday 17th July, Greg Constantine will partner with UNHCR to present The Nubian Photographic Exhibition at The GoDown Arts Centre at 2:30 p.m. The exhibition shall portray the statelessness and the denial of citizenship on Nubians in Kenya with rare historical photographs and documents from their personal collections. The exhibit will travel to indoor and outdoor venues in downtown Nairobi, the Nubian section of the Kibera neighborhood of Nairobi, and London. The aim of the project is to advocate for basic rights, inclusion on Kenya’s census, and the issuance of Kenyan ID cards for Nubians.

The exhibition shall run from 17th July to 14th August 2010.
